Postscript from my book

This book was mostly complete by early 2020. There had been a client who came to me to experience a hypnotic regression, the year before. Their higher self talked about a coming storm and things changing. I was not long after this book was completed that the coming storm started; a virus that would effect the whole planet.

As I write this postscript in lockdown, I look out at my garden; restructured with young vegetables maturing and growing in what could be a new earth.  Bird song permeates the silence. Those that live by busy roads and under flight paths notice the sounds of nature rather then polluting noise. The earth is healing. As many breathe easier, there are those that are taking their last breath. It is a time of loss and grief for the departure of loved ones and of a way of life. We have to honour that sadness. Never before has the whole planet been united; through our common humanity. Each person who has incarnated here at this time is a soul experiencing itself in new ways. Many people ask why they came; this no doubt is one of the reasons. It has been a triggering time for some of my clients and they have done deeper healing to free themselves into greater purpose.

This book called for a changing landscape; an inner journey. Who knew that the opportunities of a pathway to your soul could start or accelerate with a virus? This is part of an opportunity for the evolving soul to heal, love and discover its true potential as echoed by the first words of this book. If the lessons can be learned through leaving behind redundant patterns and embracing new creative ways of doing and being, that is evolution. It is an opportunity to unite and strip our humanity back to embodied qualities of the soul, without prejudice. The opportunities may be unknown going forward but there is always the bigger picture; trusting in this gets us through. I wrote about my grandfather in this book describing how his world changed, but I knew little about my grandmother. When this virus began, my sister informed me that we would not exist without the Spanish flu that decimated the population a century ago. My grandmother suffered with the flu and was sent to the countryside to recuperate. There she met my grandfather who she later married. Synchronistically, thirty years later my mother was seriously ill and was sent to the countryside to recuperate. There she met my father like an echo from the generation before.

We can judge this time as a disaster or take every day as it comes and see what blooms from the variety of seeds that are sown in this time. We can ultimately feast on the harvest of a changing earth; understanding each lesson, each other and ultimately ourselves is a further chapter in your evolving soul.
